Chief Executive Officer of Kerala State Cooperative Bank and former General Manager of Union Bank of India, P S Rajan is a veteran banker with more than three decades professional experience. He has been Founder Director of Union Bank of India’s Rural Entrepreneurship Training Institute and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of KITCO. During Rajan’s tenure, Union Bank has won the Central Finance Department's Small and Medium Enterprise Loan Award and the State Government Award for Kudumbasree Loan Distribution in Kerala. His team has significantly contributed to the development of digital banking products working along with NPCI, in the early days of Mobile Banking and Aadhaar Bridge. As the head of Kerala Bank, the strongest rural financial institution in Kerala, P S Rajan plays key role in banking inclusion and financial literacy in the state.
