A vibrant edupreneur and economist, Dr P A Mathew is the founder and Chairman of Grace International Academy, Punalur. He has been an eminent academician across topnotch universities in the country including Symbiosis International University and Christ University, Bengaluru. His research work was in International Economics from JNU, New Delhi. Mathew’s dream of building a world class educational institution in his own village came true only after years of toil and legal battles. Despite the institution being the only arts and science college in the region in last fifty years, permissions weredenied delayed just because the institution beinginto self-financingcategory. Dr Mathew envisages his institution which isset up in one of the remote areas of Kerala to be capable of positive social engineering within the society.
